No Way! I worked in Childcare for a few years and there are many other ways to discipline a child besides spanking. I would find a new daycare if one of the care givers or owner spanked my child.

Even if it wasn't illegal it would NOT be ok for a daycare owner to spank MY children. I would not put my children with or keep them at a place where someone else thought they could punish my children in that manner.

If the daycare owner is the parent of the child then yes. I don't agree with spaniking though. I believe there are other alternatives to discplining a child.

no, no, no, no. only the parents or people related to the child. daycare owners should never ever spank their kids. the daycare is supossed to provide care for the child, not spank him and make the children unhappy.

absolutely not under any circumstance are you ever allowed to hit anyone else's child....unless you are defending yourself and the child is bigger than you. since its daycare, that's not likely. that is assault.

No it is not, I certainly would not allow anyone to abuse my children, they should tell the parent who then punish their child in other ways.
