Just feed your dog a normal portion of food and make sure he gets enough exercise to stay healthy. That is the best way that he will grow to his full potential. If you overfeed your dog he will become overweight which can be really painful for the dog and cause him to experience arthritis, hip problems and be generally less energetic. If your dog is skinny however, increase his food portions by about a quarter cup and see if he fills out.

He is only going to get as "big" as his genetic makeup allows. That means bone and muscle (which can develop some with lots and lots of exercise - gives the body contours but not any more real mass)
Anything beyond a normal weight where you can feel but not see the ribs is nothing but FAT!!!!
There is no miracle fertilizer to turn, say, a dog that is 22 inches at the shoulder with a 25 inch girth and a narrow chest into a dog 26 inches at the shoulder with a 29 inch girth and a chest double the width that he started with.

You can't give anything to a dog so that they can grow bigger you have to let them grow on there own. German shepherds are big as it is. So be happy with his size as he is don't change any thing.

There isn't a type of food that can make you're dog bigger. Proteins and other vitamins will make him healtier and possibly grow better but not bigger. Size matters on the genetics of the dog and the breed.

Bigger? Like fatter?
Bone structure will determine how large your German Shepherd will be. You don't want to feed your dog so he gets fatter! Fat is no good, especially on a breed prone to hip dysplasia.

Try switching dogs, from a german shepherd to a newfoundland.

Your GSD will be as big as he will be. Feed him proper portions of a quality food and go on with life. If you have any doubts as to what are proper portions, ask your vet.
Don't try to make him something he's not.

It depends on how old you dog is. Nature dictates how tall they get and if you want a fat dog keep feeding him and he will become obese and that is not healthy

We had a rottweiler that we gave calf milk suppliment to. It was great. It comes in a powder form in a bag and you can get it at any farm supply store or co-op. You just add it to his food and he will start to gain weight. This does not hurt the dog it just gives them added nourishment. You can also get goat milk but I haven't tried that.
The added milk will make him healthy, and more muscular and his coat will be shinier and beautiful. This does NOT make them fat unless they get absolutely no exercise at all. Hope this helps.
