You can wear anything you want for a funeral as long as you are neat and tidy.

I wouild go with the white shirt /black slacks and red&blck tie to a funeral.
The white shirt has a definite place in the history of man with being formal attire...
Things these days might have changed(they are more lax) but it would be respectful not to draw attention to your appearance at a somber time like this .....

i've got by no ability heard of a funeral the place a white shirt could be irrelevant. individually, i could pass with the greater classic tournament with a white shirt and somber tie. If the funeral is greater casual (and that they do exist. there have been human beings of their sunday-terrific denims at my super-grandma's funeral - it rather is a farm community) you are able to positioned on purely a black shirt with black slacks, tie elective.

sorry, but he can wear whatever he wants to a funeral. I've seen red dresses slit up to *here*, hawaiian shirts and flip flops, jeans and sweats.

who cares, the person's dead and you're only going out of respect to the family.
Wear the red and black tie. White shirts are always de rigeur.

I think the white shirt, black slacks and red and black tie should be fine.

I think that sounds acceptable. Funerals have dressed down some I have noticed. A jacket would definately be better, but you wear what you have. i vote white over blue.

a white shirt would be better with a jacket. Maybe a gray shirt instead. Blue one wont go with that tie!

as long as they wear "ark" colours, i dont see it being a problem..now if he wore a red and black shirt and a paif of blue trousers that would be a problem...but wearing dark blue or black seems fine....with a white shirt....
