This is a research question. It would be great to understand how people think about this. I have asked a previous question similar but realise I didn't put monetary value. It would also be good to understand the age of respondants if this could be added before each answer. Thanks in advance.

I'm 62 and bought one about 5 years ago which failed a year ago and I bought anew one to replace it. Both for me/family use. But I wouldn't have paid £150.00 for one.

I don't think Price is the issue-You buy an item such as this because it makes You want one,not because it's cheap, expensive,or available.
I like gadgets, but don't think this one appeals to Me.
If I want a slideshow of photos to look at,There are so many other devices that are portable and can store pictures to show to others-not a dust gathering, battery munching device that has no other function than being an eyecatching picture frame on Your mantelpiece or desk or someplace else that's static...How long would You actually spend looking at a photo frame, even if it had memory to store hundreds of shots?what's the battery life like?
