Yes.
I did just that last week. Used 1 cup of water and 1 cup of milk. It came out bright pink and tasting fine but the texture was rubbery...and might be perfect for what you are looking to do in orange flavor....

I, on the other hand, was looking for an easy way to do a strawberry barvarians but decided it was better to do it by whipping cool whip into the jelled jello as I had always done. Well...I'm always game to try something different.

I always make jello with 1 cup hot water to dissolve the jello and then 3/4 cup heavy cream. I stir it after 1 and a half hours in the fridge so I don't get two layers.. Milk would work fine but you would need to heat a cup of it to dissolve the jello. PS Ice cream works good too.

Yes, it is possible, and quite delicious if made right.

4 small boxes Jell-O (4 different flavors)
4 envelopes Knox unflavored gelatin
2 cups whole milk
2 cans sweetened condensed milk
1/2 cup sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla

Make the Jell-O using only 1 cup of water for each flavor and put into 4 separate loaf pans. Let harden. When the Jell-O is done, cut it into squares and put into a glass Pyrex pan. Mix the whole milk and sweetened condensed milk in a bowl, adding the sugar and vanilla. Dissolve the unflavored gelatin with 1 cup of water, then add to milk mixture. Pour the mixture into the Jell-O pan and let harden for about 3 hours. Cut into squares and enjoy. (You can choose the Jell-O flavors depending on the holiday-ex: red and green for Christmas, red and blue for 4th of July.)

Milk doesn't sound too good with jello. If you want the mold to be opaque why not use orange juice instead.

Yes. Just add milk for the cold water then whip it with your mixer. I used to do this and layer it with regular jello.

Yes. Dissolve your jelly with a little boiled water and add in a tin of condensed milk. When cool put in fridge. It will turn out as a blancmange.

Yes! You can boil the 1 cup of water and then add 1 cup of evaporated milk. It tastes good. And it looks opaque.

I don't see why not but i think that i would try powdered milk with water that way you can just add enough to get the color you are looking for without the tast of milk.

Never tried it, but the unflavored gelatin can be mixed with anything so perhaps it would work.

Give it a try!

Yeah, but it'll be gross. Instead of cold water, add 2 scoops of ice cream. Opaque effect & yummy.
