Simple stuff, what do you like to do when you're not in school/ at work... what kinds of places to you like to eat at... what types of movies do you like to see... if you're thinking of dating this person basically anything that would enable you to come up with ideas for a great date.

You can't get a good results interviewed a person to understand. Observing them will be works, some time it also cheat your self because situation and the time will show different view . Some people will be nice to some one but not to all.. So understanding a human being will be hard unless if you will be in their heart.

some starters I always ask is 1) Have you seen any good movies lately?
Its a great question because there might be a chance you saw that movie too. Then you can compare it to anothe rmovie and hopefully, they give you your opinion.
2) Compliment what they're wearing.

What are your hobbies?
Where do ypou have lived/worked/studied?

What's your favorite type of food, alcoholic beverage, number, and color? What is you favorite childhood memory? What was you favorite game to play as a child? What's your favorite accessory to collect (i.e. shoes, watches, ties etc.)? What's do you like to do in your spare time? Have you ever, skied, rock climbed, surfed, hunted, camped, hiked?
