A news segment on immigration, showing mexican children of illegal immigrants, reciting the pledge of allegiance, including God, in spanish. Is this ok with you? I am not bothered. Economically, I am affected, but, it is not extreme.

It is an abomination and a degradation that people in this country do not want God in anything. The pledge of allegiance has always had "under God" in it and I will always say "under God" when I recite it' It makes me sad that it is becoming "politically incorrect" to mention God in public. Well that will not ever deter me from continuing to mention God whenever I can, and I don't care who criticizes me for it. Jesus said that if you are not for Him, you are against Him and He also said that if someone denies Him before others, then Jesus will deny him before the Father.
I say that if the Mexican children recite the pledge of allegiance with God in it, even if it was in Spanish, I am happy about it.

Sounds like a cheesy play on the sentiments of the far right to me...it doesn't bother me particularly because I reject sentimentality as a political tool...I don't think this Kodak moment will work, because the fundamental 'religion' of the US is Capitalism and Personal Freedom, and ultimately, I hope it'll prevail.
