its a little more complicated than that, but yes i do it to almost all of my pictures....you use corel photo paint....you can distort, erase blemishes, anything...you can put a soft glow on it. Very cool program! I LOVE IT!!!

It is a bit more complicated than that, but Broderbund has a series of programs that do what you want. You can get the package of the three programs for $100, or you can buy them individually.
Go to http://www.broderbund.com to find them and more info. They look pretty cool, and it will be easier to use a program like that than to use photoshop, though it iwll still take learning the program and palying around with it to perfect your skills.

I used photoshop to do editing and i believe most companies use the same program to enhance photos. There are also other programs such as Jasc Photo and Kodak Imaging software that do enhancements of photos
