Be very care-full where you by Hoodia. There some fake products that are nothing more then saw dust and some other inerts. I under stand that the real stuff is labeled to the fact that a certain amount of the proceeds go to the Tribe that responsible for its discovery. Which is more than fair.

I am presently on "Hoodia Supreme" by "Natures Benefits." I purchased a bottle of 60 capsules/400 mg each at Walgreens Drug Store.
Good product, ate 1500 less calories the first day. I normally eat about 3200-3500 calories daily but only had 1875 yesterday. My calorie count is high because I eat all day and night (I am presently working nights and am up most of the day plus I jog for over an hour about 3-5 days a week.)
It's 12 noon and I would normally have something to eat then go back to bed but the thought of eating turned me off, so I am having a hard time sleeping since being on this product (I normally eat then sleep). I am sure that I will have this problem for several days until I get use to not combining large meal eating with sleeping.
I can see that I will have to force myself to eat and drink because the way things are going, I do not really want to do either.
As stated, I purchased my bottle at Walgreen for $39.99, I believe "Hoodai Supreme" sells it cheaper on their web site (not big on ordering it off the web). I checked with GNC but they do not sell this product on their web site but they do offer a different brand that is cheaper and at a higher dosage.
Last, according to "Hoodai Supreme", you need to only take two capsules of 400 mg each once a day. I felt that that was not enough for me since I am up most of the day and night, so I went on the web and did some research. Most companies including GNC states that you can take 3000mg daily . On my first day, I took 2400 mg, which is six capsules and I feel find/normal (not all at once-through out the day and night).
Finally, I am a compulsive eater, and would really like to eat something right now (mental) but physically, my stomach is not saying that it needs something to eat.
I have not gotten on the scale yet which I will not for the next seven days. I will not consider this product a success story until I have used it for about 3 days because normally I can hold my own for about 3 days then go food crazy, so if I continue with the product and I continue to have a decreased appetite after 4 days, then I know it is the product.
Best of luck !
P.S. I will start exercising today now that I know the product has no side effects for me.

I use Stack Body Tune Up and there is hoodia in the protein ice cream drink, citrus boosters, and supplements. I noticed my appetite was curbed on the second day. I have lost 35 pounds since July 15, 2006 on this system.
If I can be of further assistance, let me know.

I am presently using it. I purchased from the company whose bottle is actually shown in the 60 min news clip, supposedly before all of the fakes came out. Check it out! It works for me - I've stopped thinking about food, and I eat about 1/2 the amount that I did before!
