Hi all, my sister recently moved into a new house. The problem is the previous owners left their two dogs in the garage and they peed and pooped all over the floor. It is clean now, but the smell is so bad you have to keep the door closed to the house. They have tried, bleach, vinager, lysol. Nothing has worked. Any recommendations?

They could try calling the closest cement/concrete company and asking their opinion. My recommendation would be to power wash the floor with a water bleach mixture and then seal the floor. A SEALER...not a paint. The sealer will hopefully prevent any leftover smell from seeping through. Good luck!

Our dog goes in the basement. We usually use a degreaser of some type for concrete floors. Bleach I mean might work. But you have to be carefull with the smell. Hope that helps.

Use the bleach again, but leave it on for about 20 minutes before flushing it out so it has a chance to permeate the concrete. Then follow up with Nature's Miracle; it removes odor and returns the affected area to it's normal PH.

I just saw a show on cable TV that had a problem simular....They soaked the area with watered down bleach for 15 to 20 Mins and repeated as needed. It looked like it worked..so try to let the bleach sit a little!! ;)

Try something with enzymes in it like Nature's Miracle or Simple Solutions. You can get them at Petsmart.

Purchase Pet Force from http://www.frrco.com/121668
It works! That is what my family uses and we highly recommend it.

You may have to do several applications because of the age of the spots, but it should work!
