Miss Mogsy makes a good point and that facility has and does prevent me and probably others from reproducing similar questions but what it does not do which is my primary concern is this:-
1) Question
2) Answer
3) Counter-Answer
4) counter-counter-Answer

in otherwords dialogue, debate not chat - I don't want chat either

I don't want to then have the hassle of going over to Messenger as Yahoo Services have pointed out in their Q&A - that's work - I want the archive here - in-house so to speak on the site I first posted my question - I don't want to be forced to have a gold-fish memory !!!!!

Now I am not allowed to do this people:- because of Yahoo's precious and ridiculous 'guidelines' not 'rules' mind you - that would be too harsh and non-politically correct even though if you infringe these over-the-top 'guidelines' you get a VIOLATION - but here goes:-

Nosy Parker - I was trying to send you back an email - but you haven't confirmed you email address - please can you do so - so that you may be able to receive my reply to your answer to my question and any emails anyone else wants to send you - Thank you for your cooperation in advance!

YAHOO NOW YOU TELL ME HOW I AM ABLE TO INFORM NOSY PARKER AND OTHER RECIPIENTS WHICH I HAVE HAD TO DO THE SAME THING FOR WITHOUT INFRINGINING UPON YOUR PATHETIC, DRACONIAN AND NON-REALISTIC 'GUIDELINES' GO ON TELL ME - I CAN'T WAIT TO HEAR THE RUBBISH YOU'RE GOING TO COME UP WITH - OH! YES! I NEARLY FOGOT - I'LL EXPECT MY VIOLATION IN THE NORMAL WAY FOR TRYING TO HELP THIS GIRL YES ?

The people who designed this site need to be shot!

It would be useful to have the question that you are replying to tagged to the botton, if that is what you mean.

I have given out lots of advice to one guy on divorce and children and am sure I must be repeating myself

If you click on your name, it will take you to your profile. Scroll to the bottom and you will find a list of your Q&As. Unfortunately, it's just in reverse order of answering and not searchable so once you get more than a couple hundred questions beyond what you're looking for it's too unwieldy to use.

If you go back to the original question, you can post a link to it. Often though, the old question will have popped up for the person when they typed the new question and they asked again anyway.

Hello,

Ok have you tried going through my QA.

I have done this and if I want to, I can trace my very first answer since joining. Or if I want to see how well or badly some answers have done I can also check this to.

You do have your own personal archive and when you draw one question or answer from say ten weeks ago, all the other related posts come with it.

I hope I have cheered you up.

Goodluck.
