Yes you can get herpes even if your partner is not currently having an outbreak. It concerns me that you did not use a condom, so my advice to you is get an appointment with your doctor asap. Good Luck bud.

According to the commercial on television... yes you can. I personally KNEW a girl (ho) that got herpes off a guy thta drove a red corvette (no symptoms)... HERES AN IDEA... wait till marriage.... having sex with someone you dont know th efive year history of is as bad as putting a gun to your head and not knowing wich chamber has the bullet and BOOM.... your life isnt worth the risk.... Do you knjow who has the highest death rated by STD in the world? PORNSTARS (ok i made that up but the rest is true.... and the porn thing MIGHT be true)

Not if he\she wasn't having or about to have an outbreak. You will know soon enough though. I wouldn't sweat it. I've known people that have dated, even been married to people that had it, no protection. Just made sure they stayed away when partner had an outbreak and they never got it.
