Hello,

You did not say which system you are using if it is Outlook Express, Mike is basically right. You can also try this:
To cancel a message after it is sent, select the message. On the Message menu, select Cancel Message. Canceling a message does not remove it from a newsgroup user's computer if the user downloaded the message before it was canceled.

To be certain go to Help on whatever it is you are using and check cancel or recall messages. Thanks God Bless You and the Southern People.

If you send an email by mistake, you can retract that email, provided the recipient has not opened the email.

To retract an email, navigate to your Sent Items folder. Choose the item to be retracted, and delete it. A dialog box will ask if you want to delete it from your mailbox, the recipients' mailbox, or all mailboxes.

Hey, it can be done only in OUTLOOK and only if you have the email account on an EXCHANGE SERVER. On normal pop/http/imap accounts, retrieving is not possible both in outlook and outlook express.
