No, you won't get harass by the police if you buy a gray market camera - however, if you buy it from the black market....

You can buy it from gray market but keep in mind that if the camera is accidently damaged it can't be covered under guarantee/warranty unless the guarantee/warrant card is stamped with the dealer address.
I don't think so it would be a problem having a camera without bill;you can simply say it was lost and also people don't keep the receipts filed along with their good.
