Belarc is a free downloadable program that will give you a report of exactly what is inside your computer (CPU, motherboard, RAM, Adapters, cards, etc.; make and model; serial numbers; and all the software installed on the system complete with license numbers. You can get it here:

This little program should be downloaded and run by everyone. Print out the results and file it away. I guarantee it will come in handy.
