Is life a creation of man?

I can't help but feel that life is man's creation in general.

On one side I feel that life is the creation of man through his actions, and on the other side I feel, Life is a world drama created by the Supreme soul and being played by all the souls.

Vedic Literatures states that "Life" or "consciousness" is the nature of Soul or man as you many say.
So its not creation but Nature.
