My understanding is that N.K. was dissappointed with test results ,so will test again. My suggestion is to coordinate the drop of a decent size nuke on their test site, with their testing.Giving the impression that they blew themselves up.It will also make them happy too as they will believe their test results vastly exceeded their expectations.

Although your idea is thoughtful, the U.N. in my opinion will have to strike but not with nukes. This is something no self respecting country wants to do. The world cannot allow that little psycho to bully it.

That idea while cute would be bad for all neighboring countries. The real answer hear is to just let them have the stupid thing! Just tell them we hold them directly responsible for the use if the weapon no matter who they sell it to. If al qaeda uses it on us or an ally it would be considered a North Korean attack on us and we will act accordingly. To invade now means the destruction of South Korea and possibly the siding of china with the North Koreans which would up the ante to full nuclear war between us and china. Japan also would take a beating from ballistic missile attacks.

Um... no

I think neighboring countries such as china south korea russia and japan would be totally against that idea. The only way acutally solve the problem would be a united effort of troops with the countries listed above and the united states to go in there and liberate that country.

dropping a nuclear bomb on a country has up until this point been relatively speaking "quite" would be a act of war and against the civil liberties of the neighboring countries plus it would invoke North Korea to set off any nuclear bomb anywhere (ie whatever city you live in)

I am a US Serviceman serving in South Korea, and I don't like your idea, for obvious reasons. I think there are a lot of US Soldiers, South Koreans, Chinese, Russians, and Japanese who would disagree with your idea as well.
