ok good comments all but why is all the photographers i see getting to do art modeling with non models and working with long term so they can grow as a team in creating images. and yes i understand that models need to get paid but when your a photographer looking to create and a budget is not avaliable. what do you do when you need someone to pose for you in a art form. everyone post nudes of themselfs on site but you can't get them to pose for you. whats with that. so not looking for models but for individuals who what to have something sexy and in a form that is not porm but pure photography. in my way of shooting images B&W and color

Have you tried glamourforum.com? OneModelplace? Maybe there's a craigslist for Kansas? Art figure models exist all over the country, admittedly more in major cities, but channels to hire them aren't that difficult to find...

I am an art photographer. While my models seldom are "professional" most would like some pay. It is a difficult life these days. I pay $25 an hour, 2 hours minimum for most nude work. I insist on a signed waiver, of course.

If you join One Model Place or some other photographic modeling site, you may find some women who will work time-for-prints or time for CD. Time-for-CD is easier for the photographer and certainly cheaper! Prints can cost you dearly.

I am finally selling my artwork and it feels great to get some cash back from my hard work. Nothing compared to the time and money I have invested in my craft but art seldom is.

Suggest you print up some fliers and discreetly advertise you are looking for dancers, actresses, and models, of ages 18 - 30, for artistic work. Time for CD as pay. When they inquire, you had better be upfront and also stress that you want them to bring a friend with them for their own safety. You will need their friend's signature on the release, anyway.

Beware of women who will pose nude for nothing. Seriously. Some of them are acting out some old scripts that involve some heavy abuse. Have witnesses always.

why should a model work for free? Most models don't get a lot of money anyway. Do you work for free? If you sell your photographs you should pay the model.

If you don't sell the photographs and need the money to pay for a model you can always pose as a model yourself and earn some money this way. Or you find some female photographer with the same problem and you can pose for each other's pics.

An aspiring model might agree to pose nude in exchange for photos for his/her portfolio.

You might also work on learning how to spell, it would make your request seem more dignified.

Sorry guy there models they want to get payed! If you ask for more than one TFP session with a model your taking advantage of her and word will get around.
