Used Air Transat many times, but with the upgrade. Unless you weight 50 lbs and are 3 ft high, you will feel like a sardine in an Air Transat plane, it is really awful and makes it a long flight ! It is worth the extra money.
Go to www.canadianaffairs.com, they have good deals.
Off peak season is always cheaper, like Sept, Oct, Nov and first part of Dec. Also Feb, Mar, Apr, and part of May.
And...welcome to Canada!

The first part of this question takes a sophisticated computer program to answer. Fortunately there are many good flight search engines available that allow you to compate dates and times for the cheapest flights.
Between now and June stay away from holiday periods.
I don't know which London airport they use but Air Canada usually has low cost flights. One of our best flights to Vancouver B.C. was with them--unfortunately so was one of our worst.
Good luck.

It is probably cheap now. I would recommend Air Transat, a Canadian airline....I paid approx £750 return for me and my wife last month..on the way back ,we upgraded to club and it was still cheap. Check out Globespan for your travel agent (they specialise in flights to Canada).

Hello
Go to http://www.grab2travel.com
Go to Flights
Use SmartSearch to compare air rate by entering trip detail once. You dont have to enter it again and again. You can compare rate on major travel site from one place...
