I suggest to take it off due to the fact that the loose nail can trap bacteria and excess dirt and create a possible infection.
I would then keep it wrapped as long as your foot is in a shoe and or sock. When you get home after work and you are relaxing around the house I would leave it open to allow air to get tio it.
It will take a while but the toenail should grow back after time. You must keep an eye on it cause when the toenail grows in you want to ensure it is growing properly and in the right position. If you have any issues with the nail growing crooked or irregular you can see your doctor or go to a quick clinic like Patient First and they can help you out. Keep it clean!

okay take the toenail off and then clean it with peroxide only do not use alcohol wrap the toe up and keep it covered until the toenail grows back on the toe only take it off win u r cleanin it wit peroxide as soon as u r done cleaning wrap it back up immediately do not let it get air... because air as a lot of germs on it that's y u should keep it wrapped up as much as possible or u can use an anti-biotic cream and then it could get air but if u don't get ream wait till the toenail starts to grow or heal before u let it get air 4 a while...... good luck...

You put it in a zip lock bag, then you hold it over your head and click your heels together three times. Next you turn in all 4 directions while reciting There is no place like home, there is no place like home. Throw the thing in the trash, after you clip it off. then if toe is tender, put a bandage on it till it heals.
