Yes.. Running is considered cardio so you will lose some inches... But dont go by the scale, because muscle weighs more than fat, so You will probably lose fat, gain muscle, Drop sizes, but weigh more or maybe only a little less. Its also good to really watch your calorie intake. If you want to lose weight stay under a 1200 calorie a day diet. Stick to it. Even if you dont see results RIght away, they will happen. It will probably take 2 months for you to start really really noticing a difference, and about a month for your friends and family to notice. Good luck to you!

Yes, you generally lose a pound every day of a fast. On a water-only fast you will lose more weight. I used to fast water-only one day (24 hrs) every week. I lost too much weight so I had to cut back. It is really good for you once you get used to it. I didn't get sick one time over the 6 months I did it. If you are not used to fasting and are only doing it short-term, I would not do a water-only fast. I would do a liquid food diet. Try to not eat any dairy (milk, cheese, yogurt, etc), no refined sugar, no animal products(meat). So you could have fruit smoothies, vegetable juices, soups, friut juices, etc. Have as much as you want. Most of the weight you lose will be through the excess food being pushed out of your large intestine. You probably have 5-10 lbs of food just sitting in your large intestine alone. You could get an enema and lose this weight immediately. Your stomach size would go down a few inches within minutes. The fasting will help you lose more weight than exercise. Exercise is better for muscle and heart health. Fasting and calorie control is better for weight loss.

To lose weight, you have to eat less and use more energy. It is that simple. However, each person is different and some things do work better for different people, I recommend reading Live Right 4 Your Type. and Eat Right 4 Your Type. They are books about how you should eat and excersize according to your blood type, which really seems to work. For instance the no carb diet doesn't seem to work on some peoploe. That's becuase it works best on those with the 'o' blood type

Yes physical exercise is the best way to lose weight. But if you would like to speed up the process, try eating only fruits in the morning. Eat as much fruit as you need to feel satisfied but never overeat! Good luck!

Cardio - that is the best for loosing weight. For a faster weight lose, I would do cardio like spinning, swimming, running, something that is constant.
I take Spinning now and they say on average you could burn 400 to 500 calories in one 40 minute class.
