Try sticking to generic names like "puppy" and "boy" until you choose a name. That will cut down on the dogs confusion and possible training issues.
I know it is hard to do, but wait a little longer. His personality should give you the clue to his name. Since there is more than one person in the name game, have each person say WHY they think that name is best. Some one else's reasoning may help the others to agree on a name.
For example, if he pushes through obstacles and is a little stubborn, Dozer might be a good name for him. Remember also that names that end with or can be abbreviated with an long "E" sound are easier to call.
After you choose his name, make sure that you use it every time you talk to him, especially when giving commands or training. You need to get his puppy attention and let him know you are talking to him.
Good Luck!

Name him after a boxer Ali ,Tyson, Rocky, Or some other famous boxer. My dog ,Holli Terrier got her name because she found us shortly after we returned from a trip to HOLLIster Ca. It also sounds a bit like' holy terror' which is what she was as a pup. Another good way to pick a dogs name is to grab a bunch of books a magazines ,just open randomly and plant your finger on a page, look at the word you landed on .Sometimes the coolest names are the ones you never thought of. Names found in this way in the past are Sprocket, Havoc and Adapter.

I like Diesel. We just adoped a 14 month Boxer/Pitt and named him Rocky. The first 6 hours in his new home we called him Jackson, after Joe Jackson. . . a famous boxer. But Jackson became too long to say after say "NO Jackson" about 50 times. We quickly changed his name to something short, and now call him Rocky.

I like Diesel, my mom in law has 4 boxers their names are... Sadie, Jackson, Dodger & Kouda. i had a boxer about 6 mounths ago that past away and her name was Daisy. I now have a springer spaniel that we have named Hunter, because he is a bird dog. i think that Forrest is a cute name. i don't know if you all drink or not but alot of people come up with names of alchol for their pets like.. Karona, Tayose, Bacardie. oh, my inlaws like to name their pets after old cars, thats where kouda and dodger came from, they had one named durango. hope this helps you. congrats on your boxer, they are the best dogs!!!!

We've had boxers since the day I can remember. Pick a name for personality. Even named one Stinker - - his gas could fuel a power plant! Buster, Bosco, Boz............what ever fits the personality.
