They still sell it at Wal-Mart and Food Lion. Fuji makes the same type of film, too. You can use it with the Kodak cameras.

Advantix was less film for the same or even more money, so market forces pretty much killed it. On top of this, digital cameras became popular over the past 6 years, so a lot of the consumer film, not just Advantix type, took a hit.
Think of this: how many rolls of Advantix do you plan to shoot over the next 3-6 months. Now add up the cost of the film to the cost to have the pictures developed. You will probably spend enough money to warrant switching to a digital camera.

From my limited examination, it seems that the advantix rolls had a chemical which was being used by young poeple to get "high" and as such the film was subjected to the laws which cover both drugs and alcohol. Many places did not want to get special licensing in order to sell the film, so they opted to not carry the product. It is still available, you can search for it on Google.

Film to get high? I've never heard of that. It seems like film has been getting, and will continue to get, less available as more and more folks use digital formats.

I was wondering the same thing...maybe they didn't sell enough of the product to keep it?

You can still buy it in America. Try Amazon.com if you don't have any locally.
