There is a charming Bed & Breakfast in Penzance, Cornwall, owned by the former 1960;s super model Jean Shrimpton . It is cosy and the restaurant is supurb. She and her husband keep their own herb garden and use the fresh herbs in their cooking.
The hotel is called THE Abbey, and here is a link with a review and photographs:

I just found the Abbey's website, if you would like more specific information:

Hope this helps!

If money isn't an issue go to the chef Rick Stein's place in Padstow. He has (I think) three hotel/guests houses and some restaurants and shops in the town too. Was lovely when my husband and I went for our wedding anniversary last year. Check out his website for further information.

Polperro is perfect this time of year. The weather's still good, there are nice friendly little pubs with great food, some good restaurants still open. You can walk by the sea or just chill. We did it two weeks ago and didn't want to come back!

Maenporth is lovely, with a really good restaurant called the cove. MAenporth is super close to falmouth too and at this time of year it will be starting to get quieter (i know cos falmouth is my home)!
Hope this helps!
