This will not work for you.
You need to use permanent hair color or everytime you wash your hair the black will come off and grab on the light blonde hair you already have and turn it shades of grey guarenteed!
When you use a semi-permanent hair color it only fills the hair shaft and doesnt penetrate it.
ALso, even if you use permanent color this will still happen slightly to the hair directly fallen on top of the dark shade. THere isnt much you can do to prevent this. You can wash your hair in sections inthe shower and thats about it.
I would suggest not going so dramatic and useing a level 3-5 brown which is dark instead. That way if the color does run into the hair above it, you will just wind up with a warm and darker blonde not something funky.

Do not use black hair color on blonde hair.I suggest you first use a light brown and then a dark brown. When you have really light hair going from blonde to black the color will ot be even. You have to use a filler, mening a lighter brown first, then wait 2 days and use the dark brown. That should give you a nice deep brown that is a even tone.Make sure you buy a tub of cholesterol they sell it at any store in the hair section for like 2 dollars so you can pit that on the hair that you don't want to color incase you make any mistakes you don't want little brown patches where they are not supossed to be.BUt do not use black, you will never get it out,and the color will not be right.

More than likely the color will permanently dye your hair. I too have very light hair and dyed it black (with the "wash-out stuff") for Halloween. It wouldn't come completely out and my hair ended up a dingy brown. I had to redye it blonde a few times to get it back to it's normal color. Good Luck!

All hair dyes are temporary. If. by chance you have discovered a permanent one, please share it. Since hair grows from the bottom up, if you die the bottom, very soon, the died part will grow out and your natural hair Will show again at the bottom. That would look really neat. Blond on top, a black stripe in the middle and then a blond stripe on the bottom. It would be highly unusual and definitely a hit.

It all depends if your hair is overprocessed. If it gets very tangled after you wash it then there is a good chance that it is. So it may get sucked into the inner core of your hair and not wash out or fade away. If your hair is in pretty good condition then you should be alright. The best route that I would say to go is to get a medium brown hair color and use it instead of black. On blonde hair it will look darker and you will get the dark effect you are after. Plus on overprocessed hair the brown will fade nicer than the black.

Pin or tie the right a million/2 layers on appropriate of your head and then dye the relax backside layers. once you're carried out you are able to left your appropriate layers fall over the dyed layers after which you would be able to see the dye, even with the undeniable fact that it rather is purely on the backside. i think of which you're able to do it your self with the dyes which you purely rub in and leave in. otherwise somebody else can use a broom, dye, and tinfoil to get the backside layers.

If your blonde hair is dyed then yes it will. If your natural hair color is blonde then once the black comes out it will return to it's natural color.

I BELIEVE THE DYE WILL HURT YOUR HAIR. IF YOUR HAIR IS A VERY LIGHT BLOND, IT MIGHT BE VERY HARD TO GET ALL THE BLACK DYE OUT EVEN IF THE DYE IS OF THE TEMPORARY KIND. WHY WOULD YOU WANT TO DYE THE UNDERSIDE OF YOUR HAIR? I WOULD PROCEED WITH CAUTION IF I WERE YOU.

beware of the temporary dyes. They rarely wash out in the amount of washes they say they will, especially if you have light hair. I used a temporaty dye (8 washes and it's out) to add some red to my hair and it's still got bright red streaks -that was over 2 months ago...

My friend did this and it looks stupid now that it's washing out. She's got bleach blonde hair and now the underside looks greyish. Be careful. Maybe do a test or something first.
