To most people who profess Christianity, God is indeed a mystery. To them, God is a trinity of persons--a concept they do not fully understand. So, they call it a mystery. Of them, Jesus words apply at John 4:11, "You worship what you do not know."

>>"He has not hid anything from us, except the Incarnation, and that was only until it was revealed to us through Christ Jesus. "<<
heres something for you to consider.
serious suggestion for you to seriously think about, and I hope you take this with the seriousness its intended.
what if jesus was meant as an example of ALL humans's potential.
that Jesus saying "I and the father are one" or whatever,... was not saying that "I and God are one, and you and god are not" but that we are all one with God, and all part of God.
that Jesus is a role model, of what we can all be.

Ah yes, but you're slightly misreading the true nature of human beings.
If He's set out exactly who He is and what He wants us to do, then we have to get off our metaphysical butts and make changes in our lives which, if we're honest, would be a bit of a pain.
Whereas if we think He's a Mystery, then He might mean anything. In fact, He might mean that we're pretty cool just as we are, which means we don't have to do anything to be acceptable to Him...
On the one hand, effort and hard work and a life of dedication.
On the other...wow, how cool am I, that's God's will sorted out, let's party!
Which do you THINK most people are going to choose?
:o)

Then why does Paul claim to reveal the mystery of Christ?

May be they do not understand everything about God or the Bible, but they know enough to still know who is God, and so they worship Him.

Good question. Those who know Him, have seen what He has done in their lives. And so although we may not know all there is to know about Jesus, we can say like the blind man who Jesus healed in John 9, "“One thing I do know. I was blind but now I see!”
