Pick you up ,make sure you were ok, but not take you home, lets face it, who the hell in their right mind would take a complete stranger home, even more unlikely after finding you in the gutter.

Id probably phone you an ambulance if you were lying in the gutter and come and visit you in hospital with a bar of soap and deodorant if you were smelly!

not safe to pick people up or take them home...but it doesn't mean you can't offer assistance! I saw a man standing on the side of the freeway entrance hitchhiking a few weeks ago... he was shaking and jerking real bad like he had tourettes or something..it was near dark and i knew no one would stop and give him a ride so I called the police and asked them to assist him

I would help you, find help whatever the situation would call for.I would pick-you up and see that your needs were met if you were in need of help.
I would like to think that I would see you as a child of God, I try to see all people in this light, but I recognize the dark too.

No, I'd assume you liked lying in the gutter. Who am I to judge your tastes? I wouldn't want a stranger plucking me out of my home and putting me in a place they deem as better.
