Religions are all quite ancient and recycling is a very recent issue. I'm not aware of any religion talking about it specifically. But all of them teach that the world is God's creation and must be respected, so indirectly they encourage any activity protecting the environment.

Absolutely not. In Islam we all must respect the earth, simply throwing away an old can that could be recycled will contribute to the demise of the environment. Its caring for yourself, for others and for the place you live.

The latter part of Revelation 11 verse 18 reads, '{God will}.. bring to ruin those ruining the Earth'. If God cares about the state of the planet, it follows that Christians should be environmentally aware, while trusting in God to bring about the ultimate solution

Christian Cultism says the Earth is here for Humans to use up as they breed beyond all reason and sense. Then their Jesus will come back, put it all right and destroy it all after that. We must stop them from trying to fulfill this rubbish so called prophesy.
