It is probably dermititis...which is a generic term for a condition of the skin which includes flaking, peeling, and redness. Or it could be a more serious skin condition if there is pain or itchiness. Either way, your best bet is to see a dermatologist to get it cleared up.

You need to ask yourself a few questions first!
What type of job do you do? Are your hands always in water or chemicals? Do you touch a lot of money or coins! That could mean that you have contact dermatitis! (You should be able to get a cream for this at a pharmacy!) Two you could have eczema! This is not such an easy thing to treat and could be done to some type of emotional imbalance. Or your hands could just be dry and flaky and need some attention! For this you have to treat yourself and go for a manicure!
I hope that you get sorted son!!!

Could be solvents. Do you do any work that envolves cleaning products? Ibuprofen pain relief gels etc have solvents that can cause skin to peel.
Best thing is to see your doctor.

I had this problem & I solved it by switching to a milder soap for hand washing. I also use Neutrogena hand cream after every wash. It's worth a try.
