2 months ago i had surgery the pain subsided in my lfet breast..
last week i started radiation and my breast gets these auful shooting pains..the tech said it was too soon for that the doctor sais mAY BE then ask me if i wanted a masectomy

I dont share this story often so Please listen carefully. I dont know you or your life or if you have kids and a family... But my mom had 9 children... Im the ninth. I was only 20 when she died from breast cancer. If she had had that STUPID mastectomy... She might still be alive. I kept telling her...begging her... please mom... PLEASE have a mastectomy... She refused. So here it is... 5 years later, almost 6... I still suffer every day because she isnt here with me to help me. Being only 20 when she died, and working full time... I really didnt get to learn alot of things from her... Even stupid things that most people would probably know about... Like when I got my wisdom teeth... I never knew that we start growing MORE teeth in our mid twenties... HAD NO CLUE... was so freaked out that these BONE Like things were growing in my mouth. Im sure she would have known tho. She knew so much. She was the most kind and caring person I ever knew, and I would STILL trade my life for hers any day. She will always be 100 times the person I will ever try to be...and I do try. So think about the people you will be leaving behind and how this affects them. Have the operation. WHO CARES if you dont have breasts.... YOULL BE ALIVE and You can see your family grow, or if they are already grown... you can see their children grow. My mom will never see me graduate from college, Never see me have children, She didnt get to be there for my wedding. I've lost out on so much, all because she wanted to keep her breasts.

I had radiation on my breast, and I had shooting pain in my nipple area. The pain subsided and the Dr. said it was normal.
