This is because there is no enough space for the temp drive.
So clear up the contents in the temp files and try again.

it should work now.

No, it's because to install that programme, enough disk space are required too. For example, if the programme needs at least 250mb of space to download it, and you only have 100mb of space left, then like the installer that tells you there is not enough disk space on target drive will happen. Try to delete some big programmes or games and then try again.

I'm concerned your hard drive might be damaged. Try this:

1. Click the Start Button, then Run.
2. Inside the "Open:" box, type chkdsk c: /f /r and press the Enter key.
3. It will most likely say it can't run chkdsk now and would you like to run chkdsk on the next reboot. Answer Y.
4. Reboot the PC. Depending on the size of your hard disk, chkdsk will take 1 to 2 hours to run and you can't use the PC during this time.

Your p.c hasn't got enough memory (ram) to be able to install this software.
Try the following and if after that it still wont install then you'll need to buy some more ram luckily it's quite cheap and you're going to need some sooner or later.

WIN XP.

1) START
2) INTERNET EXPLORER
3) INTERNET OPTIONS
4) CLEAR CACHE, FILES & OFFLINE FILES,
REDUCE DAYS HELD IN HISTORY TO ONE
OR TWO.

1) MY COMPUTER
2) DRIVE C
3) PROGRAM FILES
4) DELETE TEMP INTERNET FILES

1) Download and run a freeware program called CCLEANER, DELETE EVERYTHING IT SHOWS, you can make up a back up but I doubt you will need it.

1) CONTROL PANEL
2) ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS
3) REMOVE AND PROGRAMS YOU DO NOT USE ANYMORE AND WILL NOT NEED AGAIN.

1) RUN CCLEANER AGAIN

1) START
2) ALL PROGS
3) ACCESSORIES
4) SYSTEM TOOLS
5) DISK CLEAN UP

THEN DEFRAG IF NEEDED

You can also go into your start up list and uncheck the programs you don't use all the time like printer or webcam. Youcan start them manually when needed.

Before considering your problem You will need an antivirus, an antispyware, and a firewall on your pc. In case you do not have, here is a suggestion.

when you install the software, to my understanding, it goes first to ram memory. that's why you have to restart your computer after installation, so it goes to the target drive. anyway if you don't have enough ram, or you have other things open that is taking up ram memory then you need to either install more ram as you don't have enough, or close your other software so you have enough ram to install.
