Do you really have nothing better to think about? Let me guess - you were eating lunch and thought good grief this lunchmeat is just too big - why, oh why, oh why? Try making a sandwich with some sensible sized meat instead.

Hey, that's a good thing! I just hate oredering a burger and having the bun sticking out 3 inches past the meat. I like my sandwiches to have meat extending right to the edge of the bread or beyond as well.

Is that a problem? I like it that way so you get a piece of meat in every bite. If only fast food restaurants would learn that lesson so I don't have to remove 1/2 the bun.

i dont know... but i hate lunchmeat its so disgusting. it smells rough too. i used to get it for my lunch sometimes when i was at school.. i would chuck it when i got the chance

I guess there is no rhyme, or reason why some foods are are sized illogically, or packaged in unusal units. I guess it is the same reason why hot dog buns are packaged in 8 /packs, but hotdogs are packaged in 12's.

I don't know if there's a technical reason for it. I'm glad it is bigger though. I bring a sandwich every day for lunch.
