I count my blessings every day - every day there is something more the Lord blesses me with. All I have, everything I have, is because of Him.

That's absolutely true.. I believe that all you have to do when you wake up is say "thank you Lord" and everything is alright. Even if you weren't wealthy or have food on the table. The point is that you are alive and you have a second chance at being wealthy in the Lord.

Sara, In ALL things we should give Thanks! We are richly blessed, whether we acknowledge it or not. We take for granted sometimes the blessings we receive, and the trials we go thru.God is faithful.
Sometimes we are like the ten lepers who were cleansed by Jesus. But only one returned and with a loud voice glorified God, fell down at Jesus feet,giving Him thanks.
Worthy Worthy is the Lamb to be Praised ! Praise His Holy name! Rejoice! rejoice ! Thank-you Jesus! Amen

I have read your question and it was great because I tell the almighty THANK YOU every night for being alive. I was dead 3 times and I stay alive on 25 medication a day to be able to walk and to to keep my heart going. I thank him for my grand children, my wife, our children and all those around me. I ask him to heal all those who are sick and I try not to ask for anything for myself and if he feel that I deserve his grace then he shall give that to me. I believe that the spirit that GOD has given myself to guide me Thur my life will also guide me Thur the right things that I must do to help the people that are around me. As I had once read in a E-mail that I would rather live my life as if there was a GOD and find out that there was not one then to to live my as if there was no GOD and find out that there was one. May your spirit from GOD show you the way that you must follow to get where you want to go.

thank you....that really put things in my life in perspective today.....I have no money right now, my mom was rushed to the hospital with chest pains, and i have no heat in my house....but you know what? i still thank God that i have a job to make money (even if i don't spend it right), a mom that i can sit here and worry about, and a home to stay in from the cold outside.....NEVER take anything for granted...even when things aren't going the way you plan, there are still a million things to be thankful for!!!!!

Every time I read one of these silly posts about being thankful I wonder about the majority who are not as good off and who we should blame for their pitiful existence. If we thank Jesus for the good things because he supplies them, then he is also responsible for not helping the ones who don't have it. Isn't that logical? You cannot thank someone who helped you and did not help others when he could have, it's that simple.

I got bored with your question after the first 3 lines.
You have used a so called question to rattle on about your religion.
Why not belive what you belive, keep it to yourself and stop going on and on about it?
A lot of people don't belive in God yet we don't post fake questions on here just so we can rant about how great NOT beliving in God is so wonderful, how much better you'll feel, how little war there'd be without religion.

Yes. I do thank Jesus for things. I thanked Him today for a nice home with hot and cold safe, running water when I want it. I should thank Him more than I do.
