Doubt many people have experienced the full benefits of esp unless they have been in a accident.
what esp does is help you. it stops the car from oversteer and understeer by applying power or brake to individual wheels to help overcome the problems of understeer/oversteer. Also it helps to prevent wheel lock in braking and applies varying pressures to each wheel to help slow down the car.
what you can be assured is it is safer to drive, it is a tool that can help you keep in control of the car especially in dangerous situations of oversteer/understeer.

the ESP system is excellent on all german cars. have worked on them for 4 years and it never disapoints. even more fun if u turn it off. if on then the car will get u out of any thing it is an excellent system.

ESP is very cool system for all cars, and i think it should be standard for all other cars too, coz without ESP its not secure

You can wheelspin if you turn it off, you cant if you leave it on. (womans perspective oviously).
