Badly! I tend to leave the room and if possible the building and cool of by ranting to myself for a short while. It's easier in winter to go outside as it is so Bloomin cold you don't want to stay out there too long!

I can go on about what to do and what not to but at the end of the day..try and see the other persons point of view and walk away from a situation that would make you lose your temper.
You will fee so much better for it. Then it is time for the talking and listening on both sides by the way... tempers should never be open ended.
Remember the poem [IF] by Rudyard Kipling
If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you
But make allowance for their doubting too,
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or being lied about, don't deal in lies,
Or being hated, don't give way to hating,
And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise:
If you can dream--and not make dreams your master,
If you can think--and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
And treat those two impostors just the same;
If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,
And stoop and build 'em up with worn-out tools:
If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it all on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
And never breath a word about your loss;
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: "Hold on!"
If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with kings--nor lose the common touch,
If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you;
If all men count with you, but none too much,
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds' worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And--which is more--you'll be a Man, my son!
--Rudyard Kipling
GOOD LUCK!

I normally vent it out on someone and most of the time i regret in doing it. Once I am anger, I can not keep control on it. so the best way for me to just get out the situation for a day or two, by then I will be calmed down.

It gets easier as i get older. But my gut answer was with great difficulty. Acupuncture has helped in the past. Concentrate on the anger and try to disperse it through controlled breathing. Take up a martial arts, yoga or tai chi and this should help you to learn more efficient breathing techniques too.

I don't have much of a temper, but when someone/thing makes me mad, I just walk away or listen to really loud rock music or sleep.

I don't really have a temper, I'm a calm person but when I do get angry I usually like to be on my own for a while and calm down.

you need to imagine your outcome of what happens after you lose your temper, you need to breath in heavely a few times, sounds strange but tapping your head slightly in different places is a good calmer, and walking away from an insident is good to think to your self that it's not really worh it,
and another random fact is... eating a banana a day helps relieve alot of stress too?????
whistling is good or singing under your breath can be good..
unless your amazing at remembering peoms when you are stressed out, i am not sure rudyard kipling is going to help you?
