The best fundraiser idea that I have ever come across at a school was where each class prepared a "themed" basket full of stuff, such as an Italian theme, camping theme, kitchen theme (ideas are endless). Usually classes choose a parent volunteer to head each class basket and the children would vote on the theme. Parents and kids than donate items around that classroom theme and the volunteer puts together a "basket" which includes the items. I have seen some creative ideas like coolers used as a "basket" for a camping theme or a toolbox for a "just for dad" theme, then the PTA or PTO holds an open house with games for the kids (Ive seen it where each classroom teacher comes up with one, quick, fun game per classroom and kids and parents go from classroom to classroom participating in games) and a silent auction was held in the main hall for the baskets. I've seen the baskets go for as high as $300.00 a piece! In the meantime, kids and parents had a blast designing and building the baskets, had more fun at the Open house game night and moms and dads could not bid high enough for the baskets! Good luck!

If you have a "large" space like a parking lot, you could sponsor a "flea market" and bake sale. Charge a fee for those who want to put a booth - nonrefundable if it rains. The bake sale booth could also be a source of income for the school.

Sell t-shirts/tote bags with the school logo on it.
Have raffle - gather items for gift baskets from area merchants and donors. Sell raffle tickets at a fund raising event- like maybe a spaghetti dinner. If you know someone who is good at sewing, maybe make some homemade gifts? Perhaps there is a quilter in your group who would consider donating a quilt for the cause?

A local library in our area sponsored a "chocolate" event. Area restaurants were present and made delicious chocolate desserts. Tickets were $25 per person. They also had gift baskets from area merchants. The staff there said the event raised $8000 for the library's foundation. This may be a great idea. There are a lot of chocolate lovers out there! :)

The functionality of thoughts is to foretell / reason the destiny by ability of remembering and analyzing the previous. My little cousin is selling Yankee Candles for his hockey fundraiser and he sold A LOT. I bought three myself.
If that is too boring and unoriginal for you, the student counsel or drama club could put together some sort of talent show or play and use the money from that. At my friends school they had a day where people volunteered to be auctioned off as "slaves" and groups of people bought them and made them do silly things. You have to be careful with this though because people can be mean and it should be kept all in fun.
Good Luck!

Put prices on various men/ (and perhaps women) on their heads. If the money is raised, they agree to have their head shaved. The people can 'buyout' their scalping if they pay the amount raised for them.

We did this at work for the Red Cross and it raised A LOT of money! And it was hiliarious on shaving day, the newspaper even showed up to write an article about it!

How about a sponsored teacher fancy dress.
The class decides on a fancy dress outfit & sponsor the teacher money to wear it.

Each student pays money to wear their own clothes instead of uniform.

Get each student to bring in books, dvd's etc they have finished with and hold a mini jumble sale.
