A poll by ABC News in 2004 showed that 60% of Americans believe in a literal interpretation of the Noah fairy tale.

Who are these nutters and how can they be avoided next time I visit the U.S.?

Stay out of the south. Truthfully, they're everywhere. They're like goddamn pod people.

Since the majority believe this way, better go to some place where no one is around. Maybe you need to avoid the US all together.

It may be 60% now but I'm sure it was 90% 40 years ago.You see, this only proves the path most of this world is headed...the wide path to destruction(hell) as Jesus proclaimed. It's MUCH easier to believe in Noah and Creation than to believe we all evolved from a ROCK!

They can be avoided by acting gay

You would be suprised how ignorant people are. It's because people are "spoon fed" until they are adults, i.e. everything is given or handed to them. I know people with college educations who can barely function in the real world. Our society is not taught anything anymore, we are raised like a bunch of sheep.

It really is amazing how many people in this day and age believe in that stuff at all. They all need jobs or hobbies, because obviously they have too much time on their hands.

the sad truth is yes, and you can avoid them by sticking to the coastline. or keeping out of any state that is red on a political map, I am not saying that that is where they all live, or that every one that lives in a red state believes that way, but for general purposes, follow those guidlines

I believe Noah and the ark are real. The ark sits on Mt. Ararat (not sure of the spelling here) in Turkey. It is there - the Turks will not let us bring it down from there - why? because they would know that the Holy Bible will be proven to be real. Also I believe the entire Holy Bible - it is true. Sorry to burst your bubble. Those "stories" really happened. I guess I'm one of the ones you'll need to avoid. Blessings to you and I pray you find the Truth - in the person of Jesus Christ.

If God could create everything, why couldn't He get a few hundred animals to go on a boat? If you don't believe in God, why do you care what His followers believe?
