I have 6 months old Samoyed puppy and I already have problem with feeding. When I broth him at home I have tried different types of food (canned, high premium commercial dry food etc.) but the only one that succeed was home cooked food. I questioned myself about the quantity of food i should give. Now he eats 3 meals a day equally disposed. Usually one meal contains: 200gr. meat (cooked chicken or turkey or chicken liver and hearts or beef or canned fish ) 2 spoons cooked rice or oats snow-flakes or cooked corn and green vegetables like cucumber, broccoli, parsley, celery etc. Sometimes i give him boiled egg or yogurt, an apple. Always in the meal I add vitamins and minerals SA-37. Can you tell me is this good for my dog? Can you tell me the quantity of food i should give in different stages of life something like a chart or something because I am afraid of over-weighting my dog. I will be grateful to you.
