The egg.... because the hen came from an egg and the hen evolved from an earlier form that layed eggs too...
So the first hen was an egg before hatching into the first hen...

I think the Hen.

My theory is that the Hen was another species, what I dont know, maybe a bird but through time it has adapted due to changes in its surrounding, environment etc and mutated which has then caused it to have the ability to lay eggs and the cycle went from there

Well it depends on who you are and what you choose to believe really.

I read the Chinese creation myth in primary school and the world as we know it was formed from the remains of a giant who hatched from an egg and then his remains became the world after he died - his eyes became the sun and moon, his hair became trees, his flesh became land, his blood became sea and his knees became mountains.

Christians will tell you that the hen came first as in their creation story it tells you that God created the birds but does not mention eggs.

Also may I point out that eggs are a traditional symbol and they represent not Christ's birth but his rebirth.

Hope this helps!

Personally i believe the hen becuase other wise how did we evolve. We evolved from other species and a hen would have to from other animals probably dating prehistoric times. However it also depends on your beliefs and religion.

Are you so confuse?

In the Bible, most likely will be the hen, although it is not explicitely says so. But it does says God created Adam & Eve & all the animals.
