Yes, it's a good food for all dogs. I have a dobie on it right now, she's been on it since November of last year and she does great on it. They key is to find the right formula for your dog since Wellness has several varieties. It has a lot fewer fillers in it than most dog foods, also much higher quality ingredients. Some dogs that have been on crap dog food all their lives have a hard time adjusting to the high quality and get stomach problems, but after a while this will pass. They simply learn that they don't need to eat as much since there are more calories/cup than their old food, meaning less poop coming out.
And to the first poster who suggested Nutro is better than Wellness, they are misinformed. Wellness is a MUCH higher quality.

Pretty good food.
Some breeders/dog show people in the large/giant breeds use it.
Litte frofro with all the fruit varieties in it- more for the wner than the dog.
I opted for Solid Gold - a huge favorite with the top breeders and competitors.
