Means your life? I'm sorry but how on earth can a tattoo mean your life? I'm covered in tatts and none of them have been this urgent. If you are under 18 then your dad has every right as your parent to stop you from being tattooed.
Most tattoo shops require parental consent for minors, if they tattoo you knowing you are a minor and your dad goes after them...he will win. You will get black balled from the shops in your town and near you....don't risk it.
Hold off on tattooing...it is permanent!! I'm not saying don't do it...I'm just suggesting that you wait until you are old enough to get one on your own and that you know FOR SURE what you want.

No, a tattoo is not your life, you have your priorities confused. You sound like a hormone-crazy teenager so your dad is probably right to forbid you making a tattoo, because otherwise you would probably regret it. Do you know how hard it is to remove one of those? You will probably change your mind ten times in the next month, now think about having to live with that tattoo next 60 years?

So Nana, a bit of a drama queen, are we?
So you'll kill yourself if your father does not let you get a tattoo? Really? You are in need of a long talk with a mental health professional, and a counsellor to help you get your priorities right.
I think you need to do something positive with your life, and stop worrying about stupidity

Trust me, it's not your life. Remember, you don't know what the future holds--you may not like it a year from now, and be stuck with it for life anyway. Is this really something you want buried with you? Because it's going to be there when you're 80 years old, too--That dragon, or whatever you are wanting, will look a little strange when your skin is sagging and wrinkled.

If you are seriously considering killing yourself, you need to seek the help of a mental health professional. Once your suicidal ideations are dealt with and you turn 18, if your tattoo is still that important, then go for it. In the meantime, you are not in any frame of mind to be making decisions like that.

Firstly, your dad is stoping you from making the biggest mistake of your life. A tattoo is forever and if you make the wrong decision then there is no turning back, and its painfull too. So think about it more before you do it and if you still don't have your fathers approval then do it when you are old enough too.

Grow up, a tat is not that important. Just wait til you don't need dad to approve and get it. (Think, I have a lot ot tats, but all the people that talklike you have eventually 2 - 5 years come back wanting to get rid of it/cover it with something else.)

A tattoo means your life? I dont really understand. You sure you want to have this tattoo on you for the rest of your life? If your dad doesnt let you and you really want it still, get it in a spot that he cant see.

you didn't say how old you are after the age of 18 you can get one without parental consent. but think long and hard before you do because it doesn't come off unless you go thru some laser surgery which can be expensive.
