Labatt's started producing John Labatt Classic in 1983 it was sold in the wood crates in the mid 1990s. 20 year old beer isn't consumable and 20 year old bottles are only worth the deposit.

Call labatt and ask them. Or ask a beer expert. But remember beer does not last forever bottled. It can go bad. How long have you had it?

Hmmm
1. It was not a great ale
2. If it is as old as I think it is, it is worth nothing, as the beer will have gone off.
