We still need the law to know what is right and wrong. Jesus didn't abolish the law, but fulfilled it. We are under it, but we can repent of the sin, and through Jesus we won't be condemned by it.

No. The 10 Commandments were part of the Law, and the Law was nailed to the cross (Romans 7).

However, we are still not to sin. Sin is now described as giving in to our flesh, rather than following our spiritual nature (Galatians 5). All but one commandment still falls under the category of sin. We are no longer commanded to keep the Sabbath day holy, but we now have freedom of where and when to worship Christ.

Common sense law still exists. When Paul talked about no
longer being under the Law. He was talking about spirit
communication, which had been out-lawed.
Unfortunately, that was taken to extremes, to where people
say everything of a spiritual nature is evil. This is hardly the
case.
It says Satan is the ruler of this world. But that is because our
own dark side of human nature allows evil to have sway over
us. Satan is not in COMPLETE control. If he was, would
there be any churches, temples, mosques, or synagogues?
COMMON SENSE.
Sprit communication is not play. We have telepathic and
empathic ability. Once one leaves this world, one has better
things to do than keep being drawn back to satisfy
our doubts and fears. Its SELFISH to hang on to them.
No to mention the fact any psychic will tell you. Nobody comes
to them for anything important. Like how they can become better
individuals. It's always will I win the lottery? When will get a
boyfriend? When will I get a better job? Not to mention they
want information to hurt others, and even cast spells on them
and other evil things!

Romans 6:14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under law, but under grace.

Man cannot keep the laws on his own accord, we need the saving grace of Jesus.

Jesus said : Matt:5:17 Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or Prophets, I did not come to destroy but to fulfill.

Christians today are no longer under the Mosaic Law. Jesus came to earth to fulfill the Law, which he did. He says that we are only under these commandments now---"And one of the scribes came, and having heard them reasoning together, and perceiving that he had answered them well, asked him, Which is the first commandment of all? And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord: And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these."
If we follow and obey those two commandments, then all the other commandments are covered.

The Ten Commandments are the Laws of God. Those of us who choose to live by God's law will strive to keep them.

We were never under the 10 Commandments. The first few are unconstitutional from the start. Most of the rest aren't even illegal. The ones that are illegal have caveats.

Sorry, but our lawmakers made better laws than that.

Jesus quoted the ten commandments in the New Testament. We should strive to live by them. But we are sinners and may still sin though. I know I'm not perfect. But Jesus Christ really is who we follow - His teachings and His life - so the answer is yes and no - both. Christians strive not to sin and please God.

Paul states:

For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace. What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid. Romans 6:14,15

This means that sin is not our master but Christ. Sin no longer controls our lives, but Christ. We are not under the curse of the law because Christ has redeemed us from the curse with His blood as long as we remain in Christ and he is our leader. This is by the grace or free gift of God that we are saved. By faith we accept this free gift. However, James states that faith without works is dead. And Paul states above that, shall we sin because we are under grace not law. God forbid. We are still obliged to obey the law. Jesus states:

Sin is transgression of the law 1 John 3:4
Without a law there is no sin Romans 5:13

All governments have laws that they use to govern their people. Should the perfect government of God be lawless?

The very fact that Jesus had to come and die to make atonement for the broken law speaks to the perpetuity of the law. It can not be changed or altered in any way. It is a transcript of the character of God. God is love. God's character does not change, neither does the law of love. Love God, love mankind. As God is eternal, His law is eternal.

If ye love me, keep my commandments John 14:15

Therefore, love is the driving force, not fear of the punishment of the law.

John the Revelator declares that the remnant church living in endtimes will be a commandment keeping church.

And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ Revelation 12:17

Daniel declares that God is a covenant keeping God with those who keep his commandments.

O Lord, the great and dreadful God, keeping the covenant and mercy to them that love him, and to them that keep his commandments; Daniel 9:4

John the Revelator states that the remnant church will get victory over the beast and the mark of the beast by having the faith of Jesus and keeping the commandments.

Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
Revelation 14:12
Commandment keeping is a test of obedience. The same test that Adam and Eve failed in the garden. Although commandment keeping does not offer salvation, it is proof of allegiance to God, choosing God over Satan. It shows your love for your Creator. It can only be accomplished through the power of the Holy Spirit in your life and because of what Jesus did for you on the cross and continues to do for you as your High Priest in the heavenly sanctuary.

Many say that the 10 Commandments were replaced by the two commands. Love God and love your neighbor. However, how do you show your love for God? Naturally, you 1. Keep Him first in everything. 2. Don't make any images of Him that would degrade Him to a manmade object. 3. Don't take His name in vain. 4. Remember Him as your creator by keeping His Sabbath day holy, a day for communion with Him.

Loving mankind would look like what? Naturally, 5. Honor your parents. 6. Don't kill or harm others 7. Don't commit adultery 8. Don't steal 9. Don't lie 10 Don't be envious, or covet your neighbor goods or property.

That looks alot like the 10 Commandments to me. Jesus was not changing the 10 Commandments but showing us how to keep them by His life and death for our sake. He simply summed them up as love God and love mankind.
