With the way things are going in the world today, it is hard for parent's not to be over protective, but give it some time and believe me they will let up. You must play your part also, make sure that you are being responsible, trustworthy, and honest. It will make it easier for them to loosen the reign a little. Good luck and please be patient with them, there are a lot of crazy things going on in the world and they are worried about you.

as a parent, it is really hard to let go, demonstrate trustworthiness, ask questions if you have too, make sure your expectations and your parents match, they may be protecting you from something your not even aware of. I worry about all the insanity in the world, try to talk to the kids about it, but I still worry, I will always be protective and sometimes it just takes my son saying MOM I can handle this, but I also still pray and hope they are making hte right decisions, it may just take a talk with your parents plain and simple, I am not sure how old you are, if you are 16 or 17 well give it time, if your over 20 then a talk is definitely in order

Thank the stars above for that! they love you very much! why stop that? embrace it and go along with it instead of fighting it, everything they do is out of love for you and you only.
Someday when you have kids of your own, you'll understand, if not sooner.

You can sho yourself trustworthy & stable & dependable &
honest. But, parents will always worry about you.
