Can anyone please recommend a really good chocolate fountain that doesn't cost a fortune (and where's it from?). I'd like to get one for Christmas, but reckon a rubbish one could be worse than not getting one at all..... Alternatively, if yours is a popular model but it's c**p, please tell me! Thanks x

You do know they are impossible to clean and you will only use it once!!! Go for the cheapest, the Argos one seems best

i bought my one in july from thorntons £60. It was great and easy to clean and you get 4 free bags of thorntons yummy choc drops (you need 2 to run it)

Ps you need to watch that if you are buying a machine from 1 place and the choc from another make sure that the choc is compatible with the machine as it has to be a certain consistency for the specific typ of machine.

I got the cheapest one in Argos it's fine if you cram it wih chocolate and you have to make sure you get the chocolate really thin and runny else it doesn't flow - best to melt it beforehand

I find that if I eat a really hot vindaloo @ £5.50, the next day I have my own chocolate fountain. Bargain!

If you want a really good one and are probably only going to use it at christmas you could consider hiring one from a catering company...

There's one in Woolworths & TK Maxx for £50, but they can't be as good as commercially used ones. And remember. You'll have to clean it. that's enough to put me off! You may also have to change your name from trim and taut if you get one .... :)
ps if you know someone who works at thornton's, you may be able to borrow it. We have one from there at our school fair.
