I find this notion that Iraq never had WMDs laughable, if it werent so ignorant. Whether they had them at the time of invasion its hard to know, but they definitely had them at before the invasion.
Because WMDS not mean just nukes

I believe the first part of you question is in error. My take on the situation is that the intelligence data was sparse and could be interpreted in many ways. Colin Powell did not think that the quality or quantity of data was enough justification to warrant the actions taken. Just because you are paranoid, does not mean that someone is not out to get you. The events of 9/11 did create paranoia and the mood of the American people demanded some action be taken. It is unclear wither or not Colin Powell was against the course of action, or wither or not he felt that the data supporting such action should be rechecked and confirmed by third parties before committing implementation. I do feel that there was bias in interpreting the available data and that the bias existed in areas both within and outside of the administration. I think that on a personal level, Colin Powell would have demanded a higher degree of proof. I also feel he was a patriot and was not pleased with the darker side of politics.

Stormin Norman is probably relaxing and golfing.
I think Colin Powell knew he was being used as a patsy and resigned before they destroyed his credibility totally. Just a thought. It's kind of fishy how most of Bush's cabinet resigned after his first term. Hellooooo!! The greatest job in the world to work for the president and you are going to bail out?? I think that's a big red flag.

Doubt it, as not only did we gave bad and false intelligence information. So did the British, French, the UN, Spain, Italy and others. Remember Saddam thought that by claiming he had weapons of mass destruction that everyone would be afraid to attack him. He publicly stated he had them. He guessed wrong. I am not in favor of the police action type war we are fighting now, I would hit them again with everything we had and tell Syria if the insurgents keep coming thru their border, we will flatten them also. Maybe Iran too. They only understand power. They do not want or respect negotiations. The only acceptable solution to them is the complete annihilation of Israel (which they state repeatedly) and the entire world converting to Islam. Remember the only thing worsethan a Christian or a Jewish person to the militants, is an Atheist!

Yes, the WMD thing is a little fishy. As for Stormin' Norman - I have no respect for the man whatsoever. He badmouthed intel in the Gulf War. I was intel; thought we did a good job.

first there is no proof anything was falsified..many countries believed they had WMD..including France. Second..I doubt Colin Powell would lie. Third He did resign but for a variety of reasons..including on how to handle N. Korea. Fourth...Gen. Norman is retired and Prob. hitting golf balls somewhere..

I believe that it was one of the resigns for his resignation, that and the fact they would not listen to his warnings on the problems that may occur after liberation. As for ol' Stormin, he is Stormin' the book charts, and after dinner circuit, plus various adviser roles for defence firms. Can also be seen occasionally on News progs!

Ya know 'thumbs up, thumbs down" should reflect whether it is a good question/answer, not whether you agree or disagree.
Yes I personally think Powell new that he had been used, whether he new before or after the fact is up for grabs.
He would also get my vote for President in a heart beat.
