I was at a friends engagement party (dinner for 24) sat night and sat opposite a lovely guy. We chatted most of the night but in our group of 4/6 not just the two of us. He offered to walk me home to make sure i was safe in the evening and was a total gentleman. It was a lovely walk home laughing and joking no awkward silences. He did not hit on me or try to kiss me. We had been talking about music/films all night and he offered to burn me a dvd of some stuff. So I said excellent get my number of our mutual friend and when he dropped me off he gave me his business card and said its a bit formal but at least youll have my email. Hugged me goodbye and left.

1) i have emailed yesterday to say thank you for walking me home and for the offer of the dvd -

2) he replied within 2 hours and asked me out to see a film, stated he realy enjoyed walking me home and that it was wonderful to hear from me.

3) Do you think he is interested in friendship or more?

4) What should I wear?

Sounds like he's keen.
Wear something you feel comfortable in- so you can be your true self that he wants to get to know better, make an effort, something other than what you wore for work, or the rest of the day, fresh make up and brushed hair, but don't over do the make up- so he can see your face properly and don't wear anything overly tarty, nice pair of jeans and a top, a dress, skirt, anything really, make sure you smell nice and some dangly earrings!
Have fun!

3) Do you think he is interested in friendship or more? Yes, more of couse!

4) What should I wear? Turn up naked - bring beer! No only joking, this question is much more important to you than a guy. He obviously liked what he saw at the party so I'm assuming you scrub up OK so wear something similar if you're going to say a nice resturant or tone it down a little if just a film. Now here's an idea - Ask him !! see if it's a jeans type date or what. It is a tad uncomfortable for a guy to turn up in jeans and T shirt to be met with a Glitzed up babe, but even so, I'm certain he would be impressed..........

AAhhh how nice. A happy story for a change.
You my love have pulled... If he only wanted friendship he'd have suggested going in a group or not replied so early. Fact is he's asked just you on a date. And he sounds like an absolute gentleman. Go with what donna M says with regards to what to wear.
Good luck
And would you now kindly p.iss off as you're making the rest of us single old hags very jealous.. LOL

i rekon he would like to see you as more than a friend. why dont you wear something similar to the clothes you wore on the night he walked you home? and a satual type bag is always good cos it gives you something to hold onto if you are not holding his hand hehe,. but this all depends if you like the guy more than friendship. if you do, then just go with the flo and you never know, he might just be the one. but if you only want friendship, make sure he knows that. anyway, good luck with the date, x

Hes obviously interested in getting to know you as a person and doesn't seem the type to rush into things,so just take it as a friendship date and go casual, wear what you would if you were going out with girlfriends to a movie.Enjoy yourself and be yourself he sounds like a decent guy and theres not too many of them around.

Of course he likes you, well done !

He probably wants more, but take it easy, one step at a time

He won't mind what you wear, try and wear something that will be at the same casual level that he's wearing however, if that helps

Good luck, I hope you enjoy the film and move this budding relationship forward.

Hey, and be CONFIDENT in the fact that he likes you !!

No hun I think this guy is into you big time - definately looking for more than a friend!
You should wear a nice pair of jeans with a plain but fitted top - high heeled boots and minimal jewellery. Sexy - yet classy.
hope the date goes well xx

You have the cotrol, you can drive it the way you feel enjoy, and by the kind of dressing and the places you go together you can show your interests,if you are looking for just a friendship wear a casual dress,if "more"choose some kind of sexy dress and a bit of make up!!

Wear whatever you want. If he is really a good person, your outfit won't make a speck of difference to him.

He probably is interested but even if he isn't, that wouldn't be the end of the world. He sounds like a nice person, so why not go?

I would say he wants more than friendship, and he does sound like the perfect gentleman, so if you like him too, Go For It.

What to wear? Something sexy but not to obvious. He must have liked how you looked on Saturday, so something like that maybe.
