That is why it is best to say hun or something that isn't a name. Not that my husband has done it, but he was with his ex wife for 10 years and we see her all the time. There is always that slight chance her name could be in his memory since I'm the "new kid on the block". He has called me her name in conversation and I just laugh at him and say "hey what's my name"? I don't know about you, but my grandparents used to go through a whole list of names before they would get to mine. I used to say...I'm never going to be that bad. Well his kids live with us and every so often I call them the wrong name. I would think he still loves you and not her. If you hold it against him...it is just fighting tools. I wish you the best.

That's not a funny thing at all...Think, even if you were thinking of someone else, it would be truly careless to voice it out, and would you let it slip ever....Drinking is no excuse either.

I've yet to have that happen to me ..but i will say at the very least it would sure kill the mood and probably make me a bit angry.
