Don't really know about the high heels other than to say wear flatter shoes but on the cold question, have you tried Echinacea? I know a few people who swear by it. It might be worth a try.. you can get it from most health food stores.

Some people's feet are simply not built for 'killer' heels - thats because they don't have sufficient flexbility of the foot - mine are like that - BUT I can wear a lower heel, so you just need to experiment and accept that big heels are maybe not for you.

Re. the cold - the best thing to prevent it is adequate vitamin C - I also take echinacea supplements. If you feel a cold starting, I swear by a spray (throat or nasal). In Souther Africa there is a good one called 'Linctogen' but in the UK I dont think we can get it so try Vicks' First Defence' - follow the instructions - and you should stop it from being such a bad cold.

The only shoes that have worked for me are easy spirit heels. It's true that you can play basketball in them. As for the cold, try honey and whiskey mixed together and chicken soup. That will help you feel better. I've used mega doses of vitamin C and echinacea to speed up the getting well process. I think if you took them on a regular basis it won't prevent you from catching it again. It's an airborn virus and there is nothing to take. However, I find that if I take vitamin C and echinacea as soon as I start getting sick it helps. I also go to a holistic chiropractor who is really good at helping with these type of things. He's in Michigan, but I'm sure there are other holistic chiropractors out there. A holistic chiropractor works on the entire body and does reflexology, etc.. Good luck. Colds are miserable.

Well fitting high heels should not really hurt your feet. If they hurt, they don't fit correctly or the shoe is simply too high. Try a slightly lower heel.

You can't get rid of your cold. Time will do that for you. You can lessen the symptoms with over the counter cold medicines (Dayquil, Tylenol Cold, etc.). You won't get this particular cold back again, as now you will be immune to this virus that caused this cold. Unfortunately, there are thousands (if not more) cold viruses out there. There are still plenty more for you to catch. Antibiotics will do nothing for a cold.

Make sure your shoes have room for your toes to lie flat and the heels no more than 1.5 inches. Sorry, that means nothing in fashion at the moment.

Don't take antibiotics for a common cold. Drink lots of warm drinks. Blackcurrant, or honey and lemon in water are the best, I think. Ease the symptoms with aspirin, paracetamol, or similar.

If you get phlegm then a teaspoon of honey and vinegar, sipped slowly, will help clear it.

When you feel a cold coming on, you could start the warm drinks , etc., straightaway.

My Gran always said, " A cold takes three days, coming three days here and three days going." This is very true, so if a cold hangs on for very much longer, then see your GP.

First off, you should NOT move. : ) Second, What in the hell is wrong with those people? Thirdly (and most important) Yes, file a lawsuit against the hoa and against the president personally. TODAY, go and file the restraining order. Just because he is the president of the HOA, does NOT give him ANY authority to enter your home or garage. EVER! My dad was pres of an HOA once. Fourth. Did you know that if you shoot someone INSIDE your house, it's considered self defense? Just make sure he is INSIDE your house. With the kids, you have an airtight case. Freakin pedophile! Suggest he was going to harm your dogs and your children. Glad your other neighbor was evicted, that some worry off your shoulders. Fifth. he was going to shut up your dogs? If they weren't barking, what EXACTLY did he mean. He's threatening your dogs! USE THAT AGAINST HIM! Seriously! Animal abuse is a crime. Sixth. The Cat will take care of it all for you. He's good at "taking care" of unwanted things, spiders, bugs and probably even people. Good luck!

1) Try wearing them around the house first to soften them

2) I eat 5 or more portions of fruit and veg a day and I haven't had a cold in over a year. If that's not your thing then you could try supplements. Odourless garlic capsules can be bought from your local health food store and could help during colds. Spicy foods can be used to ease congestion. Take vitamin C supplement will help to give you a boost to your immune system while supporting the liver.

1. Don't wear heels if they make your feet hurt.
2. The common cold can only go away on it's own. Take plenty of vitamin C, drink water, exercise and try to eat healthy.

1) high heels are designed to kill your feet your either a person who can wear them or your not. plenty of practise in them though might allow you to wear them for longer periods of time.
2) the common cold has no known cure. The only thing I can suggest is a couple of lemsips and a warm bed.
