Of course not !But I would probably be a very good friend because you always go to friends you love when you have a problem.

Not at all. There are two words in Arabic for the word 'pray' in English when it comes to Islam; 'pray' as in perform prayer 5 times a day and 'pray' as in lift asking Allah for something.
My prayer for you would be of the second type. And this is something recommended in Islam; that we pray for each other because it is a manifestation of sympathy, compassion, sharing and feeling for each other.

No. If you ask me to pray for you, I will. I pray for many people. The thing is you have to pray that if it is God's will. Don't make a shopping list of things you want.

Praying is just begging to the air. Asking someone else to do so is just two people wasting their time.
One man with a shovel can do much more than a million people praying.

no you are asking for assistance in helping to solve the problem. there are many of us who can not help anyone directly due to many and various factors, yet we care enough about others to offer prayers whenever someone asks. personally feel when people pray either together or separately for the same thing then there is a better chance of the prayer being granted.

'course not. Youre still worshipping God, cause he's the one I would pray to if you asked me to pray for you.

No. However if you routed all of your prayer requests and/or confessions of sin to me and did not pray yourself and ask for forgiveness of God for yourself, then I don't believe you have a complete relationship with God.

Nope...that's actually what the Catholics do when they invoke prayers to the saints and Mary. We are asking the saints to pray for us and intercede for us. That's not worshipping them. Thanks for making that point.

Not at all. It is what a friend or loved one does willingly. Out of love. Much as Mary or the Saints are asked to do for us.
